Ekudden Kurs- och lägergård consists of our two cottages Friden and Fröjden. In total we have 12 bedrooms and 39 beds disturbuted among the two cottages.
Each cottage have a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen in cottage Fröjden i a larger one with double sets of stoves, oven and refrigerators that make it easy to satisfy many hungry stomachs. In here we also have a dining room for up to 40 persons with a open fireplace and set up for projector and canvas.
In cottage Friden you find a livingroom area with sofas and a fireplace, a patio under roof and infraheating with great view over the sea. At the patio you can set up dining tables for 25-30 people.
Changeing rooms, showers and WC´s are located in a separate building between Friden och Fröjden.

We want help with the cooking!
We can assist you with contact information to reputable local catering companies that are experienced delivers to Ekudden. For camps and simpler events, we can help with purchasing food and cooking if you wish.
Are the kitchens fully equipped?
Yes! Our kitchens are fully equipped. We provide plates, glasses, serving plates, frying pans, pots, bowls, whisks, coffee makers, and much more. Need something specific that may not be part of the usual kitchen items? Ask us if it's available :)
What if we want to barbeque?
If you wish to barbeque we have two large barbecue areas (1 meter in diameter) outside each house. There is also a large portable barbecue barrel. You use charcoal or wood for the grills.
Can we drop off our groceries the day before?
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this. Please check with us closer to your arrival! We recommend placing an online order at Willys Länna or Coop Port 73 located along road 73 and pick up your food on the way.
How many beds are there in total?
In total we have 39 beds. House Friden have 13 beds distributed in 5 bedrooms. House Fröjden have 26 beds distributed in 7 bedrooms. It is possible to set up extra beds that add up to extra 4-6 beds. We have capacity to house a maximum of 43-45 guests.
Can we set tables outdoors?
There are several sturdy long wooden tables outdoors if you want to set up for a party or simply enjoy your meal outdoors. There are also portable tables and benches that you can use on the terrace of the house Fröjden or on the enclosed veranda of the house Friden.
Is the sauna included?
Yes! Our guests always have free access to our big sauna for 8-10 persons. We do haven other optional add ons that is not included. Theese are: bedlinen and towels, wood, the little bar and watersport package with canoes, kayaks and SUP:s.
Do you have Wifi and projector?
Yes, there are wifi in both houses. There is also a projector if you want to show movies, set up for conference etc.
Can we arrive by boat?
Yes! We have capacity to dock 3 smaller boats at our pier. Larger boats can come for pick up/drop off at Ekudden but not dock at our pier. Consult us before making bigger plans for boat adventures :)
Is there any watersport activities?
Yes! Our small row boat is free to borrow. You can also rent our watersport package for a very favorable price. It includes: 2 canoes, 2 family kayaks and 4 SUP:s (stand up paddle boards). Lifevests in different sizes are of course included.
What activites are available nearby?
It is possible to go on hikes, seal safaris, kayak tours, boat tours, rent a jet ski, go golfing or minitature golfing, windsurfing, play beachvolley, sail, play paintball, cheese tasting from local cheesefarms (goat or cow dairys) and winetasing.
Can we take public transport?
Absolutly, from Stockholm central you take the train to Västerhaninge station. From there bus 845 to bus stop Hasslinge Gård. The bus stop is 300 meters from Ekudden. The trip takes 55 minutes. plan your trip at swedish commute website www.sl.se
Is there a audio system?
No there is no audio system at Ekudden. But we have basic speakers in each house that can be connected to a mobile phone via Bluetooth.
Can we borrow equipment for games and sports?
Yes! We have pingpong table, fotballs, kubb, brännboll, etc and some simle traing equipment.
What activites can we do at Ekudden?
Take a sauna, swim in the ocean from the pier or the sandy beach, paddle canoes/kayaks/SUP, play games and sports, hike nature trails, have a great swedish fika at dairy farm Stegsholms Gård or a lunch at popular gotcheese dairy farm Gålö gårdsmejeri.
What about parking?
We have parking for 10-15 cars. If you need more just let us know in advance and we will arrange some more parking spaces.
What payment alternatives is there?
All payments are made by invoice. At reservation you'll recive a invoice of the bookingfee. The invoice is due in 7 days. At payment the reservation is confirmed. The remaining cost is sent 60 days beforde arrival and is due 30 days before arrival.
